1. Platform Services & Ecosystem Scope
InitNode provides a software-as-a-service (SaaS) and developer ecosystem platform for software engineers, technical architects, and engineering organizations. Platform offerings include technical documentation authoring tools (The Signal studio), directed multi-chapter systems engineering curriculums & interactive architecture topologies (The Graph), containerized automated CI/CD code benchmark evaluations (The Arena), developer media sponsorships, and digital platform compute credits.
InitNode does not operate as an employment agency, headhunter service, or broker of private personal data. All platform features are self-serve developer software, automated benchmark test suites, and technical media sponsorships.
2. User & Corporate Content Ownership
Authors and verified organizations retain full intellectual property ownership of the technical documentation, blueprints, architecture curriculum tracks, and code benchmarks they create. By publishing content to public sections of the platform, you grant InitNode a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, format, index, benchmark, and display your content to users of the network.
3. Payments, Billing & Merchant of Record
All digital product sales, recurring subscriptions, platform compute packs, and media sponsorships are facilitated securely through our Merchant of Record, Dodo Payments. Dodo Payments acts as the Merchant of Record for all customer transactions, handling order checkout, billing, global sales tax calculation, currency conversion, and payment processing compliance.
Verified Corporate Subscriptions: Billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis ($149/month). Includes verified golden badge status, official partner curriculum authoring clearance on The Graph, 150 monthly platform compute credits, and corporate organization tools. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time via your billing dashboard.
Platform Compute Credit Packs: One-time purchases ($149, $399, $999) providing non-expiring utility credits for running containerized test suites and sponsoring Arena coding challenges.
Developer Media Placements: Single-issue Tuesday newsletter sponsorships and 7-day sitewide web banner campaigns booked via self-serve checkout.
4. Refund Policy & Ad Moderation
Digital Compute & Subscriptions: Due to the instantaneous delivery of digital compute and platform access, purchases of compute credit packs and recurring subscriptions are generally non-refundable once provisioned, except where required by applicable consumer protection laws.
Automated 100% Ad Refund Guarantee: When you book a newsletter sponsorship or web banner placement, your submission is reviewed by our engineering editorial team. If a campaign is rejected due to formatting or content guideline violations, a 100% full refund is automatically issued back to your original payment method via Dodo Payments within 1 business day.
5. Prohibited Uses & Security Sandbox
You agree not to upload malicious payloads, reverse engineer Arena sandbox test harnesses, distribute spam, conduct unauthorized DDoS attacks, or violate applicable intellectual property laws. Sandbox misuse or intentional benchmark manipulation results in immediate disqualification and account termination.
6. Limitation of Liability
InitNode is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from platform use.
